Our Values:  God's Word / Inspiring Worship / Youth / Community / Outreach

Our Statement of Faith

  • There is one God, who is infinitely perfect, existing eternally in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Isaiah 44:8; 45:5, 21; Ephesians 4:5-6; 1 Timothy 2:5; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice and all who repent and believe in Him are justified on the basis of His shed blood. He rose from the dead and is now at the right hand of the Father as our great High Priest. He will come again to establish His Kingdom. Philippians 2:6-11; Matthew 1:18; 1 Corinthians 15:1-6; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 John 1:7
  • The Holy Spirit is God, sent to indwell, guide, teach, empower the believer and convict the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment. All of the gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today and intended by God to be earnestly sought by every believer. Acts 5:3-4; John 14:16-17, 26; 16:8-11; 1 Corinthians 12:28-31; 14:1
  • The Old and New Testaments, inerrant as originally given, were verbally inspired by God and are the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men. They constitute the only rule of Christian faith and practice. Psalms 19:7; 119:160; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:3-4; 20-21
  • Man was originally created in the image and likeness of God; he fell through disobedience resulting in physical and spiritual death. All men are born with a sinful nature, which separates them from God and necessitates a Savior. Salvation is available through the completed work of Jesus Christ alone. Those who repent and believe shall be saved, resulting in eternal life and fellowship with God. Those who do not repent and believe shall be forever separated from the life of God. Genesis 1:26-27; Romans 3:23; 5:8; 6:23; Acts 4:12; 17:30-31; Matthew 25:41, 46
  • Salvation has been provided through Jesus Christ for all men; and those who repent and believe in Him are born again of the Holy Spirit, receive the gift of eternal life and become children of God. Mark 1:15; John 1:11-12; 14:6; Acts 4:12; 2 Peter 3:9
  • It is the will of God that each believer be filled with the Holy Spirit and be completely sanctified, separated from sin and fully dedicated to the will of God. Ephesians 5:18; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 2:15-17
  • There is a literal, personal devil, and demons, who seek to destroy the works of God. All believers have been given authority over all the power of the enemy. Luke 10:17-20; James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8
  • The Church consists of all those who believe in Jesus Christ, are redeemed through His blood, and are born again of the Holy Spirit. Christ is the Head of the Body, the Church, which has been commissioned by Him to go and make disciples of all nations. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14; Colossians 1:18; Matthew 28:19-20
  • The local church is a body of believers in Christ who are mutually committed to the common purpose of growing in Jesus Christ and representing Him in everything that they do. Ephesians 4:11-16; Philippians 3:10; 2 Corinthians 5:20
  • The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and will be personal and visible. Revelation 1:7-8; Revelation 20:2-7
