Pastor

  • Eric True

    Senior Pastor

I have served in vocational ministry for 30+ years and am truly blessed to pastor the thriving Willow family. I met Lori (our Worship Pastor) at Azusa Pacific University in SoCal (go Cougars!) and we married upon graduation in 1988... the best decision I've ever made! We have five "kids" ranging from 14 to 34, and our two youngest came home to our family from Ethiopia 13 years ago. I am also officially "Papa" to four grandsons.

I enjoy being with family and friends, good coffee, golf, the ocean, and Lake Tahoe. Along with a BA of Music/Theory and a Minor of Psychology from APU, I hold an MA of Theological/Biblical Studies and an MDiv from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. The greatest message of hope is found in God's Word, so I am passionate about unpacking it through exposition inspiring discipleship, service, and encouragement. On a side note, the teams God roots for are the 49ers, Giants, and Warriors. :) willowspringchurchmoraga@gmail.com

    Worship Pastor

I have adopted the life motto of, "Encouraging one another to live a life of passionate worship to God," and am inspired to do this as His child, a wife to Eric, a mother of five, and a pastor and friend. As a songwriter and worship leader, I am commited to fostering an environment of authentic worship in the church, spilling over into our everyday lives. The growing Willow family desires to live this out and serving with them is an amazing blessing to me.

I love to teach, read, explore new places, and am a life-long learner. I began my collegiate studies at Stanford University, earned a BA of Music/Education from Azusa Pacific University, an MA from CSU Sacramento of Music/Conducting, and an M.Min and D.MIn from Global Awakening Theological Seminary. willowspringchurchmoraga@gmail.com

Elders

Elders function as shepherds of those that worship at Willow by caring for their spiritual well-being. They are committed to prayer and the Word. They strive to insure that instruction and teaching within the church is based on sound Biblical doctrine, and that the staff are supported in their given roles.
